Can we know for sure which mountain Sinai was in Exodus?
Answer:
Dear Cooper,
Well, the short answer to your question is, “No.” We cannot know for sure. While there are at least three possible sites, most scholars believe it is Jabal Musa (which means Mountain of Moses), located on the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. While we might not be able to know for sure the exact location, we can know for a fact that God talked to Moses and gave him the Ten Commandments and the Law (Exodus 19:1-3).
